LIKES:
spending time alone reading a good book with a glass of red wine in her quarters. Larna
enjoys a good argument as it gets her blood rushing and also loves a challenge. Enjoys
going on long bush hikes on the holodeck and in her spare time cooking up a storm the
old fashioned way.
DISLIKES:
Mostly people who are ignorant, self absorbed and liars. Being in crowds or small
confined spaces and also hates long distance travels on shuttle crafts.
STRENGTHS:
Larna is a determined individual who works well alone. She has the ability to know when
someone is lying just by there body language which is useful due to her line of work. Her
flexibility and strength makes Larna a worthy opponent but would rather settle things
intellectually then with fists. Her flight training has also been noted in her records as
dangerous and reckless but could fly through a asteroid field without a scratch.
WEAKNESSES:
Larna doesn't trust many people which in turn doesn’t help in a team work setting. Larna
is a workaholic and has been known to over do things to a point where she can get very
irritated with the people around her. Her social skills need a lot of work as people can
find her to be intimidating and blunt.
BACKGROUND:
Raised on Earth/Australia with her Mother Kathy Carlington. Larna Started her career
in 2373 when she joined Starfleet academy at the age of 17. When Larna graduated her
first posting was aboard the U.S.S Casey as there Assistant Operations officer. Aboard
the Casey under the Command of Captain T'Lork Larna was excelling well and after her
Second year was promoted to Lieutenant and given the posting as the Casey's Chief
Operations Officer. In 2383 Larna was approached by Starfleet Intelligence and was
given an opportunity to reassess her career options. Larna didn’t want to leave the
Casey as she had formed long lasting friends but knew that this was something that
would be challenging and rewarding and as hard as it was to say good bye Larna left the
Casey and headed to Starfleet Intelligence HQ to begin her 3 years of training. During
her time at HQ Larna was thrown into a very different world that she was not use to. Her
studies on species, governments and other civilizations that was considered classified to
the outside world opened Larna's eyes to a view that made her more untrustworthy and
careful of the people around her. Determined to graduate and continue Larna knew that
this was more then just a career it was serving the federation behind enemy lines it was
to find information and knowledge to better equip starfleet and its Officers and to also
save lives. Graduating Larna was given an option which was rare to intelligence officers
as they had just been told where they would be posted, but Larna had impressed her
superiors that she was able to decide her next step. Larna missed serving aboard a
starship as it had been so long and she felt so hidden away for the past three years that
socially this might make her feel alive again. Her request was to to be considered
aboard starship that would require a intelligence officer. Given the current Political
situation and the mission that the U.S.S Pioneer it was desired by Starfleet command and
Intelligence HQ that my posting may be of great use to the crew aboard.
