Physical Description: MacFadden has the face of a man who has seen the seedier side of
life; best described a Dashing and rugged in his early thirties. His piercing blue eyes are
among his notable features and he is rather fit but tends to wear more loose clothing.
Personality/Psych profile: MacFadden is a man of mystery, he loves to solve mysteries;
he is more like a well read professor. He is always working on some project and not the
most adept interacting with women. He is a shy person on duty and will tell stories to
small groups when off-duty and has an obsession with knowledge.
Family History: The MacFadden family have been recorded since the 1200’s on Earth.
All the generations have kept records of history from their vantage point. The history
from Durik MacFadden all the way to Fredrick MacFadden III; the father to Reginald is
well recorded in the family annals. His mother Tessa came from a promenade family
name also; Bell, who can be traced back to the Druids of the Celtic Empire before it fell
around 383BC. The Family ranged from warriors to scholars throughout the ages.
Personal History: Reginald was the middle child with an older half brother of ten years
and younger sister four years his junior. His older Brother Terrence is a famous
Historian with papers and whole teaching curriculum surrounding his views on history.
While Terrence has done extensive study on Xino-archeology; he never set foot in space
outside well funded expeditions. Reginald’s brother is a bit of a ‘Fame Hog’ that tries to
keep himself on the tongues of the scholarly.
Reginald was brought up to respect knowledge; where his brother had scholarships for
his mind Reginald would use sports to get what he wanted. He could climb, jump swim
and swing like a monkey. He also tended to get into a lot of fights being in the shadow of
a genius. To calm him he was sent to a Shaolin Temple to learn ‘focus’ and martial arts.
While studying he was given the history of Martial Arts and legends of great masters
and their weapons.
Using computers and old fashion books he managed to start a quest to verify the
weapons, scrolls and tombs. He like the adventuring; but still he was not like his brother
who reveled in the class room and instruction; yet , that is where Reginald ended up as
well. He chose Information Archiving and science. Knowing computers and cryptic
theories he excelled in computers and with a slight bit of study learned other traits.
Because of family strife from the ‘egos’ of the brothers Reginald chose Star Fleet rather
than the scholarly sector for his study. If asked about his famous brother and why they
do not work together Reginald says ‘no planet is big enough for both egos.’
HE was a ‘late bloomer’ in Star Fleet and entered at the ripe age of 36; he went through
the classes and was still looking much younger than his years. He had followed and
supported his Brother to no end of frustration, some say the ego contest was from the
fact Reginald was going to live far longer than his half brother; it was said that Reginald
decided to join star fleet towait out his brother’s death and then make a name for himself.
On his off time between studies Reginald tends to go ‘Treasure hunting’ of sorts. Among
his first pursuits was to seek out a family Heirloom; his mother’s maiden family name
were druids of the Celtic empire. He set out in a quest to find anything of his family
name. He found in a long forgotten tomb a set of Runes (Bones) used by priests to
foretell the future. His Mother was there to use the (Bones) and it was found out that she
is El-Aurian. His age is logged at 44 but has the body of a thirty year old and has
inherited his mothers aging process; his sister by the same mother was killed on the
Breen Attacks on Earth during the Dominion War.
