PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE :
Lieutenant Commander Conrad reporting on Cadet Christina Saint James. Official Psych
profile for Star Fleet Academy and service record.
I have found Christina Saint James to be a unique subject in the way that she has
handled people around her and her unique view on her past and outlook on her role in
Star Fleet and her goals in her career.
As recorded in Star Fleet archives including the three waivers on file; Cadet Saint James
is is an post-assimilated female from the Borg Collective who had been freed by the USS
Tantalus while on patrol on the edge of the Delta Quadrant.
What is surprising the most to me is that Cadet Saint James does not show the usual
hatred or disgust for the Borg or what they have done to her. She has explained in our
multiple interviews that she has an almost familial feelings toward the Collective as the
family she never had.
She continues to hold that the Borg maybe on the whole, an evil that must be dealt with,
but she feels very strongly that steps should be taken to try to free Borg drones instead
of just killing them on sight.
Cadet Saint James continues to remark that she had been a cripple all her life with the
inability to walk and that the Borg gave her use of her legs and that she is thankful for it.
I certify that Cadet Saint James is loyal to the Federation and would be a very good
asset to the Fleet.
Character Background:
Christina grew up being raised by the different families on the station that took the time
out of the schedule to take care of her and by the age of 9 she had become quite
profecient at the use of her mobile seat and the use of the replicator.
At the age of 15, Starbase 221 became under attack by a Borg Cube who was interested
in something technological on the station and the inhabitants were able to flee safely
onboard a small independent liner that had been stopping for repairs. No one bothered to
come get her and she soon found herself alone on the station with the Borg.
That last betray was enough to have her turn her back on humanity and she made a point
to seek out a drone and willingly joined the Collective.
Given the designation of 9 of 15, she did not resist there assimilation or the use of her
body which must have surprised the Collective. Christina remembered the vice like grip
being released for her mind allowing her personality to re-emerge slightly and being
added to some type of creative think tank in the collective to
formulate new strategies based on the species they were facing.
After five years as a Drone, the ship that she had been stationed on a small Borg Probe
ship suffered a catastrophic failure in the vinculum of the ship. She later awoke in a
Federation starship's medical bay free of the collective and the medical officer explained
that they had picked up her life signs as the other drones had died and they beamed her
out before the ship self destructed.
Now, removed of all her Borg implants except for those that make her walk, Christina
felt that she had a new purpose in life to free those who do not wish to be imprisoned and
fulfill her ultimate dream of having the Borg change of a threat to the galaxy to a
benevolent species that use their ability for those who wish it like she had.
